500 Club
Congratulations and well done to all our members who participated in the 50K in 30 Days challenge. Don’t forget to post your achievements over at the forum so we can celebrate with you. For those who didn’t quite reach their target, we are continuing the challenge in the 500 Club on the forum. The challenge there is to write 500 words a day, every day. You can find the 500 Club in the Events section of the forum above 50K in 30 Days. Join us in the chat room most nights for a sprint or two and a chat.
Once again this challenge is open to all financial members of Romance Writers Australia.

Claytons Conference 2012
Registrations for Claytons 2012 open July 1.
We all know the Diamonds Are Forever Conference is going to be brilliant, but not all of us can make it to the sunny Gold Coast. Enter the annual Claytons Conference, the conference you have when you’re not having a conference (to paraphrase an old but famous soft drink slogan).
Claytons 2012 is online, interactive and impossible to ignore. It’s good fun, motivational and informative. It is open to all Romance Writers of Australia members and it’s free.
Please visit the Claytons page on the RWAustralia website for more information (including the program) and to register.
If you have any questions, you can contact Julia and Jenny at ClaytonsConf12 [at] gmail [dot] com.
We look forward to “seeing” you there!

Enrico’s quote of the week
It is necessary to write, if the days are not to slip emptily by. How else, indeed, to clap the net over the butterfly of the moment? For the moment passes, it is forgotten; the mood is gone; life itself is gone. That is where the writer scores over his fellows: he catches the changes of his mind on the hop. ~Vita Sackville-West
Have a great week!
