I’d like to introduce and welcome debut author, Barbara DeLeo.
I write: Contemporary romance for Entangled Publishing’s Indulgence line.
I’m from: Marlborough at the top of the South Island, New Zealand
Three words to describe me: short, organised, vinophile (so glad I found one word meaning wine lover!)
At home I cook: Not as much as I used to. My four kids are all addicted to Masterchef and after months of dried up egg on the carpet and crunching sugar under foot, they finally seem to have turned a corner and are producing some great food!
My worst habit is: Checking emails in the middle of the night
It’s a bit daggy but I love: Old fashioned rice pudding
My first job was: Drive-thru chick at McDonalds
My day job is: Writer
Saving for: A whole new pile of books
I procrastinate by: Facebooktweeterneting
Three things people might not know about me are: I speak Greek, I have two sets of twins, I’m in a mountain village in Cyprus right now.
Favourite book as a child: The Enchanted Wood (see favourite author)
Plotter or panster: Was a pantser now more of a Plantser. Love me some Scrivener.
I would most like to meet: Shakespeare
When I was young I wanted to be: A psychologist
Why I write: Because it challenges me, makes me laugh, makes me cry, and I love it.
Latest project: Contract for Marriage, my debut book, has just been released by Entangled. My next Indulgence, Last Chance Proposal is out January.
