  • S E Gilchrist’s erotic fantasy novella, BOUND BY LOVE, tied in 2nd  place in the Music City Minuet of Love contest.
  • View Cheryl Wright’s book trailer for her romantic suspense novel RUNNING SCARED
  • NYT bestselling author Keri Arthur has contracted FIRE BORN from her new series about a phoenix, a fire spirit capable of taking on human form who is also cursed with the ability to foresee death via her dreams, to Danielle Perez at NAL, in a two-book deal, by Miriam Kriss at the Irene Goodman Agency (World English). Her next two books in the DARK ANGELS series, featuring a half-werewolf/half-Aedh, have also been contracted to Danielle Perez at NAL, by Miriam Kriss at the Irene Goodman Agency (World English).
  • Steampunk novella, COURTING TROUBLE by Jenny Schwartz is due for release on October 1 from Carina Press.
  • DOUBLE EXPOSURE by Charmaine Ross was launched with Destiny Romance this month.

Keeping Up Appearances

  • Mary Hawkins is presenting a two hour workshop on “Getting the novel structure right” and will be also in the “Editing Room” at The Word Writers Getaway 12-14 October at The Sunshine Coast. FMI: http://www.thewordwriters.com/index.php?

The week started with a very excited Maree Anderson telling us about her win of the Maryland RWA Reveal Your Inner Vixen contest with her Paranormal YA, ‘Freaks Of Greenfield High’. WOOHOO Maree, what a way to kick the week off.

Anna Jacobs shared her new book cover for her novel In Focus Hot on the heels of this information Anna told us about Farewell to Lancashire will be coming out in trade paperback early January in Australia. Anna was also interviewed for the ‘West Australian’ dailey newspaper. Huge congratulations Anna.

Anna Campbell shared her excitement about her new trailer for ‘Captive of Sin’ which Vanessa Barneveld put together for her.

Heather Brown informed the group that the first of her shapeshifters novels in the ‘Pride Brothers’ series ‘PURR-FECT SEDUCTION’ is due for release by Noble Romance on 2nd November. I can tell you now, this is one HOT read. PLUS Heather signed a contract with Noble for her ‘PURR-FECT ALPHAS’ novel. To top off a great week for heather she is receiving great reviews for her anthology ‘Forbidden Love’.

More great review news. Tracey O’Hara continues to impress the readers with her debut novel ‘Night’s Cold Kiss’. Tracey received a positive review from the Townsville Bulletin this week. If you haven’t pick up this novel yet, be sure to do it soon.
