This week has flown by and Conference time is creeping steadily closer. The finalists have been chosen for the Valerie Parv Award :), 50K in 30 days is ticking over nicely and I’m sure those who can’t make it to the conference are lining up for Claytons. My reading list has grown thanks to all the wonderful new releases and blog posts this week. It’s set to grow even more now that my pre-order is in for my copy of the 2011 Little Gems Anthology.
Enrico is taking a well deserved break from Cruisin’ this week. Our driver today is Clint. He looks like he needs a bit of romancin’. Clint is the strong, silent, broody type. Let’s see if we can cheer him up.
Keep your good news and hot blog spots coming to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you to all who contribute to this post each week. I hope everyone is enjoying Cruisin’.

The Lynne Wilding Meritorious Service Award
Nominations for this award close on June 30th. Every year our wonderful, valued members share advice, tips, moral support, tears of joy, our successes and our stumbling blocks. Who do you think has gone the ‘extra mile’ this year? This is our opportunity to recognise and thank all those members who keep extending their hand to help us through the sunlit hills and dark valleys of writing and publishing. Unfortunately, there can only be one recipient of the award but we’re all winners for having such a wonderful and supportive group. Email Diane at email@example.com with your nomination and don’t forget to tell them why you think your nominee is deserving of this award.
Kylie Griffin’s first book cover is now up for viewing on her blog. VENGEANCE BORN is also available for pre-order.
The SARA girls would like to congratulate Amy T Matthews who featured on the 7.30 SA report on 24th June on Writers facing tough times. During the interview you will see snippets from the book launch of her debut release, THE END OF THE NIGHT GIRL, which won the Arts SA Premier’s Award for unpublished manuscript in 2010.
Congratulations to all our members on their achievements this week. Please feel free to email me if you have exciting news to share.
