Claytons Conference 2012

Registrations for Claytons 2012 open July 1.

We all know the Diamonds Are Forever Conference is going to be brilliant, but not all of us can make it to the sunny Gold Coast. Enter the annual Claytons Conference, the conference you have when you’re not having a conference (to paraphrase an old but famous soft drink slogan).

Claytons 2012 is online, interactive and impossible to ignore. It’s good fun, motivational and informative. It is open to all Romance Writers of Australia members and it’s free.

Please visit the Claytons page on the RWAustralia website for more information (including the program) and to register.

If you have any questions, you can contact Julia and Jenny at ClaytonsConf12 [at] gmail [dot] com.

We look forward to “seeing” you there!

BURNING LIES by Helene Young – published by Penguin Australia

Release Date: July 2, 2012

Kaitlyn Scott is searching for the truth about her husband’s death, even if that means revisiting the most painful day of her life. But what she uncovers is a criminal willing to stop at nothing to keep his secret.

Ryan O’Donnell, an enigmatic undercover cop, is investigating arson attacks when he is drawn into Kaitlyn’s world. He tries to fight his attraction for her, hoping the case might put his own demons to rest, but it only threatens to push him over the edge.

With Kaitlyn and Ryan on a collision course, the arsonist seizes the chance to settle some old scores. As the Atherton Tableland burns, the three of them are caught in a fiery dance of danger and desire, and not everyone will come out alive.

Set in Australia’s tropical far north, this is an explosive story of peril and passion by the author voted by the Romance Writers of Australia as the most popular novelist of the year.

  1. Am so looking forward to attending the Gold Coast conference. If you have to miss the RWA Conference you esoecially might like to consider going in October to the first live-in Word Writers Getaway as in the notice above. Do check out the programme. I will be in presenting one of the electives and in the “Editing Room”. The last two years have been a one day seminar type event where I have also presented workshops and been very involved.
