Our chauffeurs were kept on their toes again this week as 2014 takes off. We have some exciting new posts coming to the RWA Blog, so keep an eye out on Cruisin’ with RWA every week for an update. First cab off the rank this week was the introduction of a new monthly blog by member, Gabrielle Battistel that answers questions and shares information on new ways to promote your work. You’ll find a link to the post under Cruisin Member Blogs.
Cruisin’ the News
We love celebrating success. Our members are encouraged to send in their New Release news for publishing in Hearts Talk and the New Releases blog. Don’t miss the deadline! Send in your new releases by the 8th of every month to: firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com Of course, the Cruisin’ Crew don’t want to miss out on the celebrations, so drop Clint and Enrico an email with your blogs, new contract, first sale, new cover or release news at firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t forget to come back on Sunday for a list of exciting writing-related events delivered by our members.
Anna Jacobs doesn’t mind at all that her book THE TRADER’S GIFT (Number 4 of The Traders Series, historical) is bobbing in and out of (but mostly in) the Top 100 Amazon Bestsellers lists for Sagas and Family Sagas for both Kindle and Paperback. THE NORTHERN LADY is cruisin’ in and out of the Top 100 Kindle Regency Romances.
Tina Marie Clark has signed a new contract with Harlequin, Mira Australia for another two books. SHOOTING BUTTERFLIES will be in stores December 2014 and another novel late 2015.

We love romance and what better way is there to get your hard work out there to be read and critiqued by romance lovers. Both the Ruby and the Ella are now open for entries and close on February 7. So don’t delay! Our Little Gems competition for short stories opens tomorrow January 10 and closes on January 31. For further details and entry forms, click on the links to be taken to the RWA website.
