  1. What prompted you to put together this workshop for Romance Rocks?Mary Hawkins
My mentor, Mary Hawkins, and I participated on a romance writing panel at the CALEB Conference in Brisbane last year. We talked about how we could put together a workshop that covered both the writing craft and business aspects of the inspirational romance genre. Mary has an upcoming book release in the Australian market and I have a six-book contract with Harlequin Love Inspired Heartsong Presents in the USA.
  2. What is the best part/aspect of conference for you?
The best aspect of conference is the people. I love catching up with old friends and meeting new friends. A weekend of talking romance writing with people who understand your crazy writing life and know how to have fun. Everything else is a bonus.
  3. Anything you’re particularly looking forward to at the 2014 Romance Rocks conference in Sydney?
I’m really looking forward to attending James Scott Bell’s Friday workshop. Plot & Structure is one of my favourite writing craft books and my American author friends rave about his workshops.
